Snow and Mud Crowsnest Pass Ride August 23 - 26, 2013

well, usually its pretty dry... if we get rain thou it gets wet and messy fairly quick..lol
but nice weather gives great rides although there is the dust factor... there is a lot of climbing... we go quiet high up.. most is all good.. i cant see any of you not making any of the trails.. lots of grassy area and some rocky area's too.. there will be wet area's thou no matter how dry it is but the dryer the less muddy you will get..

this is scenery riding and awe riding and exploring riding.. what you see and just the way that area down there is, you have to experience it for yourself.. once you do, you will be hooked..
lets put it this way.. i have been on rides down there where wifes have had there childern on the back and went everywhere we all did...

Larry might have to stay at camp and drink keystone then. might be too much ride for the King.

A few of us were planning to head up there too. Was thinking of doing the 4 day drip starting and ending in Atlas. ...got maps from SUBZERO last summer but haven't made it out that way yet. I'm thinking we may just take the whole week, start the 4 day trip on Tuesday, return to Atlas on Friday, and then ride the weekend with you.

We stayed in Atlas a few years ago.. its way smaller and dustier than MacGillivery.. and the road up to Macgillvery is pretty good.. you can get any size trailer in there... Atlas is just a few miles west of MacGillivery.. whynot just stay all together.. there will be enough room.. the area is big...

i looked at the mountain in the back ground more but looking at it again and yes your right.. those pics of my truck standing there with my trailer where taken to the left of your picture at that side road going up the hill...yeah i guess you can do that.. send the wife and kids shopping or as far as i am concered family can come on the rides if they want..

Yup West of highway by the Canadian tire. Chad is planning on come with us as well, maybe Josh as well.
