I know my sled runs like crap on Petro 91, so rather than pack many jerry cans when I go to Blue River, I take one with 112 race fuel and add 2-3 liters to each tank. Sled runs great.

Sent from my iPhone when I should be sledding.

We have to do the same - Fill up in Prince George on the Way to Stewart. Last place you can find 94 octane.
Always get a laugh on the responses when I ask to pre-authorize my credit card for $800.00 of premium. The $100.00 limit at pay at the pump is a joke.

If you bought your fuel in Costco in Red Deer instead of Prince George you'd save over $150. Sure you'd have to cart it further but I doubt that's costing you that much more.

LOL how long does it take to pump $800 worth of fuel from a standard pump anyway? You'd be there for what.. bout a week? :D

You'd be surprised some of our Wireline truck drivers will fill up at regular Shell Stations instead of the cardlocks so they can get the Air Miles. Luckily our employees are salaried and not paid by the hour.

Yeah it's terrible. Usually pulling into P.G. about 4 in the morning and stand around in the chevron parking lot for about 90 minutes by the time we refill with diesel & fill up the tidy tank with sled fuel.

Always filled up on the way just because of the weight. I'll check out Costco for the next trip if they carry 94. May start mixing some special gass.

Why would having Ethanol in your fuel stop you from riding? Most of if not all sleds are good for up to 10% Ethanol. Unless you have a built motor or turbo set-up that prevents you from running you should be good to go. Obviously avoid it if possible, but no reason to not run it if you have no choice.

Read his post above he has a 290hp boosted sled. I wouldn't want to take a chance either! And I thought I read on one of the other 1000 posts about ethanol gas that Chevron has no ethanol in there premium? And Smithers has a chevron.

I did ask at the parking lot to the Onion and was told all fuel now in Smithers has ethanol. So purchased from a guy in our group. All worked out but just for a heads up!!!
