Summitric showing me how well that new T3 x 174" climbs a 6' hill.....well until it gets stuck....lol.

I am buying a place in BC asap, pretty stoked on that!
Not sure if ill do the thread this year or not, depends on the snow, plus its a lot of work to do the thread, so we'll see.
Im not going to ride on a bunch of ice this season,, ill be only be going out on the pow days.

Just doing my usual pre season talk around in circles a million times on what to do for a sled. Sell mine and build something else? Keep the turbo as is and buy a second 146 xm "for the wife"? Play with the turbo a bit and throw some more goodies on it? Sell the sled and take the season off? Fricken drive myself nuts sometimes. Anyone else do this?

You buying in revy Dan? Taking the winter off to ride again or working and riding to pay the mortgage?
I'm too poor to play that game I just ride what I have until I wear it out and then buy a new one. Do you not like the turbo or just doesn't suit your riding style?

Just focusing on getting some property in BC right now. Still plan on doing a ton of riding, but might only be 60 days instead of 120 this season.
Unless it turns out to be an epic a snow year,, then things might be different.

No absolutely love it. Just think I like buying and selling as much as riding. Fun trying out new things. Only thing I dont like about the turbo is it makes everything too easy. Sounds dumb i know, but it really takes the challenge out of most terrain. I think one of the funnest sleds I have ever had was my 2010 xp with a high compression head and a tonne of lightwieght parts. Would probably go back in that direction if I did sell mine.
Looking at Malakwa actually. A few acres and a house& shop. Might work part time, ride part time. I could work as a guide all winter, but I need to take courses to make it happen and my real job pays better... Kind of up in the air right now.

Sleds are all comfy cosy sitting in the shop and it is time to put another little charge on the batteries. First year, in a long while, that I haven't been excited about a new sled. Running the '14 and the '15 again this year.

Sweet area. The guiding thing is expensive to doo it properly and IMHO it is way over-rated. From what I've seen, setting up a business "teaching back-country sledding technique" is a way less expensive way to go. Liability insurance is less, avalanche training is way less in time and money, and the tenure thingy is not required. Depends on what a guy wants to doo, I guess.

Yeah price is part of the reason Im looking there. Revy is kinda over priced IMO.
Looking at some places in Sic too. But Id like to have an acreage though

Yeah forsure, to setup your own gig is hard to do legit. Great Canadian Snowmobile Tours had mentioned they had a Guiding position that might be
up for grabs this season. So I could potentially just work for them full time, if I got the courses.
I never really have pursued this though, cause the land thing is my #1 priority right now.
