hi i was in radium (on the road to forester creek) a few week ago dirtbiking and we end up in a small bowl in mc donald creek and i was wondering if anyone been sledding this way?? worth the drive or just 1 bowl ... was looking on google map and it seems like i could ride....

Do you mean at the top end of redline/macdonld creek? There is a snowmobile cabin, an old one near the top just of one of the trails near a switchback. There are the remains of an old ghost town just down hill(hard to find). From Golden club?

i don't think we are talking about the same place... but would like to see this spot... i"m talking about if you go to radium on the horsethief road maybee about 10 km past the turn out for forester creek and hang a right on mc donnald creek road .. there a really old logging camp and the road wash out but if you keep goin(hike or dirt bike only) you end up on middle of a bowl...could not make it to top with the dirt bike to much boulder....

It is off limits to sleds during winter. There is a heli ski operation in there. As well the snow you see is a glacier which is also off limits, sign is on the Toby creek side. As well there is a gate on Toby creeks side. The heli cabin is somewhat hidden in the trees by the lake.
