Has anyone been able to ride a mountain sled in alberta yet?

we have only rode in BC but it would be nice to do a couple day trips close by. We don’t need big mountains but won’t ride in flat farmer fields. From the summer time I got a bighorn backcountry map that shows a few places but can’t find much info on them. Sugar bowl, onion lake, ranger creek, scalp creek.

Any advice where to go? We were thinking of going out this Sunday

Don't go that far west. Go to Cow Lake or Burnstick lake or look up the staging area for the Caroline Snowmobile Club or a David Thompson snow riders. If this snow hit the a Sugar Bowl area it won't be a safe place to ride this weekend if you have never been there. Where in Alberta are you living?

There are areas on the Caroline trails that are 4500ft. Just don't go blasting into a cut block they don't clean them up very well.

Come to Calgary! I saw a sled at the neighbourhood Tim Horton's here in Calgary one cold Saturday morning. Some great riding.
