Sledding Golden in mid April?

Hello new to snow and mud. Seems like a great site. Looking for information on sledding the golden area mid April. Just wondering about access. We've sledded the sicamous area at these times previous and they were ok because you climb elevation quickly on the logging roads.
Many information would be great.

Spring riding is usually good around here...roads are your biggest issue with mud and some of the areas you end up riding a lot of dirt to get to the riding area. Tough to tell what's happening until right before you go as it changes everyday. You'll find some snow at elevation still, it's just a matter of how you get to it.
