Just wondering if many others feel like i do? just cant get into it. Going from sledding the winter in places like the grail, paridise and eagles pass to quading has no appeal to me. I find it really boring, I know many of my friend love it but to me its like riding a lawnmower, yawn.

I have a quad but bought it mostly for trail cleaning with the sled club in the fall. I go out a couple of times in the summer but really prefer sledding. (I like the fact that 'winter mud' turns to water and disappears after a day of riding unlike summer mud that you have to spend hours washing off of everything after you go riding).

So what do you do all summer?? I have a quad and a street bike. Quadding is alot of fun if you know where to go for what you like. I like mud and challenging areas.

I'm with Slamnek on this one man...........my quad is the only thing that keeps me sane during the summer months. I love to sled but enjoy quading just about as much.

Dirt bikes i can see. we used to ride none stop as kids, Iam to old now, dont bounce when i hit the ground anymore i shatter. Quads are just to slow and cumbersome.
As far as what i do all summer, its mostly work to be able to afford sledding all winter. Iam thinking about starting coke or meth its probably a cheaper habit.

Scotts, I used to think the same thing, then we discovered TOMCARS. check em out Tomcar Canada or .com...

Mr coops knows all about these babies he finnaly broke down and bought one; you may think were crazy, BUT it is REAL CLOSE SECOND to sledding... they are WAY fun. quads are not that great for 10 hours of mountain riding and you cant go fast and put on miles, dont get me wrong quads have their place for sure, i have 800 brp but. we will go 50-60 miles in a 10 -12 hour day in the tomcars.. flip em, roll em smash em.. stereos, 12" suspension travel, 20" clearance.. rhinos and rzrs doent even come close...unfortunatly there wont be until full production until spring 09 or maybe fall this year..

Any where there is snow
Sledder all the way, use a quad in the summer time for trail maintenance. My big thrill for summer time is getting to a stream out west with the flyrod:)

Tomcars look like they would be alot of fun. I have contemplated selling my bike for a street bike but you can't do this on a street bike.....

Note BBQ on the right side infront of the suzuki.

Yah I'm with you on that one. Sold my quad last year and am strictly a sledder now. I dont miss trying to ration the water in my trailer for getting me clean after a muddy quad trip, since I have two daughters and a wife its hard enough to control the water usage let alone what I need. BUT, now my oldest daughter is getting into quadding and she has no one to ride with so Im not sure what Im going to do about that, I cant get that Polaris Razor out of my head, hehe.

Would anyone mind telling us what these Tomcars prices are, I like the diesel option, are they any good or is gas better?
