Reading the comments on the link you have posted make me sick to my stomach. It is so sad that people that are anti snowmobiling make light of a tragic death to push their opinions. WTF has this world come to, when people can make such insensetive comments about the death of a fellow human. I don't care if you like snowmobiling or not comments like"mother nature 1, snowmobiler 0", and "another day another snow lover dead" are just so disrespectfull. Also the people that click the disagree icon when someone is giving the condolences to the family are a bunch of disgusting excuses of humanity as well. If these people want to be anti snowmobiling they should not use a story of someones death as means to promote their opinions. There is a time and place for everything and that was not the time or place. I am so sorry for the loss of a fellow sledder and my condolences go out to his family.

My condolences go out to the family and friends of J.E.

I also read the comments on the link. How disgusting can people be? It really makes me sick to think people can be so cruel and hurtful....

The A$$holes that are making those sort of comments, I would bet, are those type that drink and drive and think nothing of it. I honestly can't see how anyone with an ounce of intelligence can make comments like that about the loss of human life. I am a true believer in Karma and when you disrespect to that extent, the loss a fellow human being's life you will one day answer for your attitude.

The type of people that write comments like that are the same ones who would drive their kids up to Whistler in their Prius, for an enviromentally friendly dogsled ride then happily whisk them back home to snuggle into their hemp sheets and dream noble dreams of the righteous while the dogs get their throats slit..

I added my comment in there yesterday. Some of the comments are so rude and those people don't see that someone died.

Has anyone ever thought of how many people that enjoy the BC outdoors on any given weekend in the winter. I would guesstimate around 6500 people that would be snowmobiling and skiing each weekend, do the math I don't think Im far off, probably a bit thin. That is alot of people and the amount fatal accidents are quite minimal compared to driving on a road, or just driving around a city.

Again RIP Jason. There is another thread on here for condolences.

Someone correct me if iam wrong but I belive on Average snowmobilers account for less than half of all avalanche deaths. So clearly the underlying factor contributing to these people's commements is ignorance, indifference and outright stupidity.

I threw up a response to the negativity surrounding the death. Some of those comments are outrageous...
