CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE Last night (Nov.13) The Sled Parlor suffered a fairly destructive fire. We will be closed as we assess what can be salvaged, and decide how to rebuild the shop.We want to thank the Carstairs, Didsbury, Cremona, Olds, and Crossfield fire departments, (I hope I’m not missing any of you) and around 50 fire fighters who battled the flames, some of you fought all night long, may God Bless you.We also want to thank Personal Electric and Cornerstone Ent. Both from Didsbury, who made sure we got power to the house, what a comfort light is on a long dark night!Thank you to the many friends and family who stood alongside us as we watched the shop burn, and the many texts, emails, FB messages and prayers. Thanks to you, our customers who have supported us for nearly 15 years, many of you have become dear friends. Please check back for regular updates. Landon and Marti

I've never heard of this place, but that's a classy post right there. Sound like good people.

That's too bad. bought a few things there over the years. It was worth the visit just to look at all the cool old iron he had. Hope some of that stuff survived so he can get back on his feet quickly.

Very sad news. I have dealt with them through the years. Very good to deal with. Glad to hear there was no loss of life. I hope they can get back on their feet again.
