Saw a couple semis get caught up on the new barricades leaving shell.

I actually find it faster to hit the traffic circle and come back.

Used to really back up there.

Doesn't sound like you're driving the right truck. Currently at 14L/100km decked up from Edmonton to blue river, towing 4 place is 18-19L/100km.

On tune 3 which i find gives me my best mileage, but yes only doing 110km/hr on hw16 and 10 over everywhere else.

To blue river and back including all idling time my truck told me i did 13.8 but actual calculations from fill ups at the pump says around 16L/100. Still pretty good IMO.

I could probably drive a smart car too.....

Burn 60,000+ liters of diesel a year, so the couple extra liters burnt on a sled trip really doesn't get me too excited.

I quite enjoy it, way less congestion there when I'm heading to the office. Plus Starbucks is on the easy side of the road if I haven't had a coffee by then.
