The guy's Facebook says they made it across the boarder no problems and they are enroute, so sorry your correct, not quite yet in revy.

Its a neat idea but it must be a pain in the ass to put that deck on and off.
Much easier just to hook onto a trailer and go.

And not the kind of deck you would want to leave on to cruise around town with.

Seems a lot are forgetting that you also have to include weight of occupants, truck fuel, luggage, light bar, aftermarket bumper, oversize tires & lift kits plus all the $hit you bring along. The new F150 in single cab 4X4 with Payload package would be most likely over the max allowable - not to talk of the crew cab.Perhaps you plan on following behind your truck in a taxi. Still not sure??? Why not go and chat with Highway Enforcement before they stop you on the side of the road.
You clearly missed the point of this thread. Payload doesn't matter you can't use a half ton for a deck no matter what the manufacturer rating says. Has to be 3/4 or 1 ton and even better if it has a huge lift, 40" mud tires and 14 light bars.

You now that i think about it I saw the same rig(or maybe just the same setup) back in November parked 10k up Boulder.

The 4 place sled deck on a 1ton trend is catching on.

So if a 1 ton can carry 4 sleds........
A 1/2 ton can carry 2 sleds..........

Case closed.
Glad we solved this.
Sure one front and one back

One over top of the front axle, one over the rear axle

So it's ok for a one ton to be ridiculously overloaded, but it's not ok for a 1/2 ton to be within its legal limits ? This just keeps getting more bizarre lol
So much for the c of g argument.

Looks like max payload is about 4200 pounds. 4 sleds, deck, fuel, 4 guys and gear is prob over that.

Hauled the same sled (except pink and black) in my ford Ranger this weekend. Pretty much wheelied down the highway lol

My boy is 3.5 yrs, got her set as slow as I it goes. Took him out and after about 30mins he was complaining too slow lol.

I put the deck for the occasional time I haul that little 120 so he can go ride with me. But loaded up with one sled and the mini sled, I defiantly notice the load on the truck. I agree two sleds and a crew cab full of guys would be grossly overloaded. I have no intention to haul two full sized sleds.

But then again, I'd rather see the half ton with two sleds overloaded than some of the overload trailers and such on the road.
