Honestly don't see how bad that would be. What's a 26' enclosed weigh? 2500-3000lbs and even if he had 5 sleds packed in at 650lbs a piece that's only 3250 for a total of 6250lbs that's about what my 23' travel trailer weighed and you wouldn't have batted an eye if I passed you hauling that with my old Titan.

According to ford the raptor is good for 8000lbs still 1750 left

Lol don't know how a sled deck thread turned into a towing thread, but your right two separate ratings.

so if I were to have a flat! lite beer would fix it? is this true?

Frikin ya! Pour it in the valve stem and shake tire vigorously before reinstalling then drive like bat out of hell to keep the "head" pressure up.
This is one advantage of the half ton with a deck, you can't do this with a 3/4 or 1 ton, they are to heavy!

Hope this helps clear up your delema!

My 2010 f150 with tow package has 1850 lbs payload
New 2016 f150 4x4 SC HAS 2600 lbs payload.
So I can't do it with a half ton but I can with a 3/4 ton ? Lol

You clearly missed the point of this thread. Payload doesn't matter you can't use a half ton for a deck no matter what the manufacturer rating says. Has to be 3/4 or 1 ton and even better if it has a huge lift, 40" mud tires and 14 light bars.

Sorry about that. I will only use a 3/4 ton with less payload than a half ton to deck the sleds sir.

My 3/4 tonne has a 2700 lb payload. Atleast that's what the dump scales told me when I took my old shingles is. Came in 100 lbs over gvrw and unloaded 2800 lbs

I have an important question. Are white oakleys lighter than black ones?

I'm sure the payload cop will be ok with that. After all it's a 3/4 ton and the axles won't bend. :)
