If you go anywhere near Tete Jaune Cache in BC. They love the Albertans coming round the corner with 2 sleds on 3/4 tons (not even 1/2 tons) and off comes the second sled to be parked in a neat row at the side of the road next to all the others. NO DECK ON A 1/2ton or a 3/4 ton in BC

I'm pretty sure it's actually legal in the west Kootenays, west of McBride, and Between 100 mile and Prince George. Oh and definitely in Whistler/Squamish.

Some 3/4 tons has more payload than some 1 tons and some 1/2 tons have more payload than 3/4 tons.

Let's leave the decisions to the scale and sticker on the door.

I've never been checked at Tete Jaune and I've never seen sleds sitting there. I'm always legal though cause tex taught me all about legal weights an load security.

I was going to say the same, I have never seen any sleds on the side of the road or even a truck that had to stop and go through the scale.

Really....3/4 ton also?? Rear axle can legally have 6400ish# gross rating. 6.4 Hemi has rear payload of almost 2800ish# to a diesel's 2400ish. Definatly not an overweight thing on a 3/4 ton. Some new law??
