Of course they are! You just have to make sure you don’t have too much tread as the deep tread will make you slip and slide like crazy. Optimum tread depth would be between 2&5 32nds of an inch. This would be even better then running a brand new set of studded winter tires.

Quick question: Are mud tires good in the Snow?

ktm 450 exc 245lbs dry, timbers led kit front and rear 135lbs. Minus weight of tires, swing arm, etc I would say in the area of 360ish (ready to ride) x 5 = 1800lbs....
Would be legal on a 3500. Even after adding another 1300lbs of guys and gear.

it would be interesting loading the outside bikes long way down to the ground
I load up to 4 dirt bikes on my deck in the summer. I start by riding up in the center, and then kick the bike over to the side and strap it down.
