What are you guys paying on your new one ton diesels for a year and where? Just bought a new 2024 Ford Lariat One ton diesel. Just got my renewal and looking at $1430/6 months or $2860/ year for full coverage minus glass as I purchased glass from Ford. Moonroof is $3600 to replace they say. Have always paid around that $600-$700 for diesels every 6 months. Asked the gal at CoOperators and she said Ford insurance is expensive. Are GMs and Rams up there as well? Is it the aluminum bodies? Thanks boys!
Makes me wonder why moonroof is even an option on vehicles? Serves no purpose and super expensive. Wife's equinox has one and only time it's been open is when I accidentally hit button when I'm trying to find the light switch.

They are useless, have had them on 3 vehicles now. Never get opened, not even the cloth inside cover. They put these queer commercials on tv showing some fake family all looking through it like it made their family so close and happy ….. and you can’t get a full load top trim SUV or car without them these days. Just more excuses to drive prices to the damn moon and another excuse for insurance companies to rape and pillage

Whatever. If you don’t open it that’s your choice. It is there to open if you want. If you don’t want it you can order a truck with out it? That’s how the system works especially since Covid when for quite a long time you never saw trucks on lots because the manufacturers were building to order.

Just another thing for a meth head to smash and cost the owner money or for a random rock to fly up in the air like a one in a million situation and crack it. I have never seen a ram limited model or an overlander model jeep come without them and that’s what I own.

So it doesn’t affect you then? Problem solved. Lol

How you figure, I have both those vehicles and both have the giant moonroofs that cause insurance to be higher lol
