Im so very impressed with the folks on here willing and caring enough to help out when people are in distress. If the world had more S&Mudders it would be a much better place. Big hugz to the people of Slave Lake, youre not on your own with all this.

Nick and his dad are at the Walmart in Spruce Grove collecting donations. Walmart is handling the cash donations and Nick is taking everything else. This was mentioned on the Bear. Nicks enclosed is there ours will be delivered this evening.
Anyone in the GBCA, Spruce area can drop off donations there from 9 to 9 Today, tomorrow and wednesday.

I have the stock trailer, my concern there is that it is not 100% enclosed, but the weather is supposed to be nice....
I also have the high rise canopy on the diesel still so if we are doing the drop in edmonton I can stuff my truck...

Wow an hour after asking for blankets in the peace river region they no longer need any because of the flood of people donating!! Wow guys!! Great job!! But still in need of more clothing and food items. We are sending our stuff with family heading that way to help!! Way to go!!!

I also just heard that oil sands near fort mac are getting evacuated?!? Anyone hear anything about it?? And we have more help coming for the Red Earth fire as well I can't believe this outbreak!! We don't get tsunamis but we sure are in serious forest fire region!!

If snowandmud was to have trailers in a said location possibly Thursday evening we could use a few members assistance to help take donations and fill a sled trailer full. Please pm me if you can help. This would be from 5-9 somewhere south.

he wasnt sure if they were going to shut the highways down, today was his fly out day, i dont know if that happened

Bunch of guys here from town all just had their flights cancelled back up to the camps. I know of at least 4 different sites that have cancelled flights now today. Doesnt sound real good.

Holy hell!! This is crazy!! I'm packing emergency bags for me and my fam when I get home today!! The way things are going better to be prepared I'm thinking!! So so sad so many homes and irreplaceable mementos burned to ash........

Wind has been 28 to 40 km/h today(according to the SL weather on Envrio Canada)....so hopefully all those water-droppin' aircraft are in the air doing what they do.
