Long story short I had a head on this past weekend with an arctic cat and since they come with the heavy bumpers my doo didn't fare to well. After I got it home and stripped it down and almost every piece of plastic up front is broken including th airbox. I've been doing a bit of research and read through past threads to see what other options I had for hoods, and I don't mind the look of the skinz helium. But I can't find much for pics of it on a doo other then what's on they're web site. I would like to keep the storage box up front and I'm not real thrilled about not having headlights. Does anyone have one of these hoods on they're sled with a headlight installed on it, and do they hold up? My other option of course is to just keep it stock, I'm going to the dealer today to see what the costs will add up to for stock plastics then I'll compare it with going aftermarket.

Take a look at the mountain fit hood. Wayne at menztoys Careys them, look like the doo but light and strong you can still have the glove box it has an air box and way lighter.

Here's a mountain fit hood from Wayne Menzies. He said he had 1 left when I was there this weekend. I'm doing a custom intake system courtesy of a friend. Not quite done but can post a pic when complete.

Your friend's custom intake works better than mine and the others in our group. I just hate the look of it! But there is no denying that I works. His sled rips.

I really like the look of that, I decided to keep it stock, I figured if I needed warranty work at all brp might be sticky with it if I don't have a stock air box. The repairs in total cost me $1300 with a Rasmussen bumper. Thx for the pics and replys.
