ski width

hey guys stupid question but just out of curiosity would goin from a ski that is just under 7 inches wide to a ski just over 5 inches wide really make a big difference, keep in mind its not a big fancy sled, its a zrt 600 modded up to play in the mountains, my skis are in pretty rough shape and a buddy sold me a set he had kickin around but im not sure if i wanna go narrower, thanks for the input

I would stay with a wider ski, put wider skis on wifes 670 and made big difference

Stick with the wider Ski.I put them on My summit 600 this year and now I can turn circles where I used to hit tree's .I also put the extra skag on the outside edge of the ski's and it's really
great on the trails now.
Also I think the wider Ski's keep you on top of the snow in the deep stuff.

Wider is usually better in deep snow. I went from 7" - 10" wide skis
