Well. Thanks to the sad state the province is in my machinist decided to close the doors and sell all his machinery. Unfortunately i am looking for another machinist with access to a cnc or manual lathe. If any of you here know of anyone please let me know. In the mean time i will be looking for someone else to do my machine work for me. With the large volumes ive been moving across the border i have limited stock witch leaves me in a bit of a pinch with the dealers and members of this site. Please bear with me as I try to solve the issue. I do have limited stock on HD kits for the guys that need them. I will update when i get them spinning on the lathe again.

Are you looking for someone to do this after hours or just hire a machine shop to build them? Should be a lot of options in the Edmonton area for the second option. We use Westland Machine for all our machining however he is in Red Deer. He does have all the equipment you mentioned though.

Oh no im willing to pay. The problem is lots of these shops are hurting just like my last guy. I cant pay some of the crazy rates they are quoting. Now its a game of trying to find someone that doesn't gouge so i can keep the costs where they are. I could switch to a less expensive less quality material like the other guy on here is selling. BUT that is something im just not willing to do. If i wont run it in my machines i wont give it to someone else to run in theirs.

That makes sense. I don't see any of the invoicing so I have no idea what the rates are here. I do work with the end product and we have had very few problems in the 20 years we have used them.

Resistant to Abrasion
Where severe wear is a problem, polyurethane often outperforms rubber, plastics, and metals. In many applications, this abrasion resistance allows users to fabricate polyurethane products with less material than other elastomers would require. Other benefits include lighter weight, longer life, and reduced maintenance and replacement costs.

Highly Resistant to Impact
While conventional plastic materials tend to become brittle as they become harder, polyurethanes remain elastic and resist fracture even in very hard formulations. This great toughness makes polyurethanes ideal for parts that have to stand up to high impact or repeated impingement.

Flexible at Low Temperatures
Depending on the formulation, polyurethanes remain quite flexible even in Arctic-like temperatures. In addition, polyurethanes have proven remarkably resistant to thermal shock, and withstand sudden and drastic temperature drops without cracking.

:nono:

That's cute. The material im using outperforms it in every way.

Settle down boys, its just a spacer were talking about here. Its not like its gotta support the space shuttle or something, Relax! Lol
Actually that's where your wrong. If in fact there was a failure there is a good chance your machine is spending the night where it failed. How do i know this? because the big name guys that i had testing these for me broke some of the first prototypes, and i can tell you there was carnage. from broken springs, to idler wheels to a bent drop bracket. There is a reason behind the materials chosen, the design being used, the tolerances being used, etc.

Agree , some people think they are building something completely new ? Lol
They have been around for years and at one time offered through the race department at BRP.

Hey guys, quick update im back in production. have a contract with a bigger shop that has better machine times and larger production capabilities. I took a bit of finding, and i had to learn how to build my own CAD program for the cnc but i got er all sorted. Anyone the PM'ed me ill be getting back to you shortly here.
