Let see what aftermarket accessories are coming out for our G5's. My build includes CFR bars, some kind of rail reinforcement, front and rear bumpers and Trail Tech Voyager Pro.
Got my CFR Turcotte handlebars in, i like that they only have a 1" rise and 12% sweep. What do guys with bigger hands recommend for grips?
How does a guy from Ontario have a clutch kit dialed in for a new Turbo that only a select few have ride time on? Wouldnt you want to try the new doo clutching before investing in a clutch kit? I just re read what i wrote dont mean to come across sounding like a d!ck but seems premature to pull the trigger on a $400 ? kit.best aftermarket accessory is a clutch kit. i received a new one from iBackshift a coupla days ago and it'll be going in the new sled as soon/if it comes in. tunnel mount scratchers are another item that have proven their worth but it doesn't look like they fit on the G5's because of the redesigned skid so maybe run an xtra set of rail mounts? not sure on that.
i like the USB charger for the glove box.
i prefer a shorter riser so i have the BRP adjustable one permanently locked in the low position.
deep snow grips which these sleds should come with standard as the stock ones leave a lot to be desired.
i also run the RPM composites brake and chain case protectors which i remove and install on each new sled. was at a sled convention a few years back and a buddy took out his brake on a stump and had to drive the 10+ hours back home just a couple of days into the trip. that was an eye opener for me.
snowflap.
Cool man will have to update us and let us know how it works for ya.fair question and i would normally ride it first but with my experience from having his kits on my 20 and 22 freerides, i figure he knows what he's doing on what is still basically the same engine and clutch.
I have have the RPM composite guards on my 17. Going to pick some up for the 23 and a BMP bumper as has saved me a few times as well on the 17best aftermarket accessory is a clutch kit. i received a new one from iBackshift a coupla days ago and it'll be going in the new sled as soon/if it comes in. tunnel mount scratchers are another item that have proven their worth but it doesn't look like they fit on the G5's because of the redesigned skid so maybe run an xtra set of rail mounts? not sure on that.

I think there's a glovebox extension that raises it upi wonder if anyone is going to make a better looking glove box cover?
hey do you think the Doo tool kit and a belt would fit in there? The G4 rear seat storage fits perfect. Got rid of the heart shaped belt storage in lieu of this. Not a huge amount of storage, but at least I have room for a tool bag and a few other items here in addition to a spare belt
