Any 3rd party manufacturers plan to make a low boost elevation compensating turbo that copies the air box design, fueling and clutching simplicity that ski-doo released? I'd be in the market to add one to my existing 850 sled.
The system is quite simple but the workings are complex, The air box design would be the easiest to copy. But the integration of the electronic wastegate, computer and all of the internal sensors would be hardly worth the hassle to convert a non factory turbo machine. Just run a boon docker sidekick. Wont run as good but its the closest option without looking at the factory 850T
Sidekick you would have way more power too.
and an air box clone is not difficult Have turbo manufactures not had electronic waste gates in the past? Pretty sure some of them adjust for altitude on their own.
There is more too that 850T than some know. Snopro had it right its cheaper to buy a new sled if thats the turbo system you really want.
I have no experience with other aftermarket turbo kits other than a boondocker for a 850. That kit with my version of turbo clutching made that sled feel like a 200hp factory bottom end sled.
buy a used sled for ten grand and pit a proven kit on for 5kmax, ride more power than any new kit from Brp pretty easy to put 5k in wallet there
Lol cause they are reliable....just towed another aftermarket sled out today.
How do you write off a chopper ride??Pretty sure bob there been more than a few ropes and choppers rides on the new t doo as well.. and that goes for stock 850s as well.. **** happens when hp is made, 100 percent right off at least if air assist
How do you write off a chopper ride??
Wrote me up a recipt for crop spraying. My B.C. cattle need a aerial visit every once in a while, health cattle are important, they are pretty happy to right it up what ever way you want it to be..
