That sounds like a really good time.Where about did you ride on Maui.My guess would be in the hill s above Kehai as there is lots of rural country up there.If the have a dual sport trip to Hana ask if its a round trip.I drove the complete circle 4 years ago in my rental car.once past Hana on the way back towards Kehai you almost see knowone.Would also be fun taking the dualsport up Haliakala in the daytime.Thanks for sharing.

The trip to Hana is both ways and takes a full day to do. They do have a half day trip also to the volcano. Can't remember the name. The trip to Hana is only good one way, with the crappy road on on south side. Would love to do that on a bike and plan to next year

I wish I had found this ( or it had existed ) 3 years ago when I went, I did the road to Hana on a Harley, not exactly a performance based situation. Although trying to slow down a 700# bike on the wet leaves with a 500' cliff on one side of that road will make you pucker! Haha.

At the time I couldn't even find a DS bike to rent on craigslist there.
