Sounds like you need a clutch/motor mount alignment way cheaper than keep buyin belts at 220$ a pop

Yea i got them to check, said it was good.. I inquired about that grip n rip tool so check that out... i blew 1 in the first 100km so was concerned, been over 400km since so seems alright.

Spent the weekend in Revy riding the guts out of the 850 Silber.. Let that animal out of the cage, i've got to build up so new turbo muscles i suppose..

Sled runs awesome, i still have to do a bit of clutching to get it totally dialled in.. I geared up a tooth and thru some weight at the clutches.. Went a little heavy on the tip and now its heavy till it spools up and then look out.. Think if i pull that weight back it'll be a little more controlled and snappy... Its so awesome, I'll chase it just a little closer and leave it..

Sled runs without a hiccup and is out of control powerful, so much fun and i was able to setup my skid and it's hard to make it wheelie..

Anybody else having trouble getting rpms down with what they supply you for clutching with the kit. I have loaded as much weight as I can on the p drive bolts and still can’t keep my rrs below 8200. Suggestions? Riding a 17 ski doo 850 and SILBER kit and SILBER helix and clutch weights. Ride 6000 ft.

Who are all the options in Alberta for programming? Do you just need the cable or do you have to purchase the program too?
I received a quote from a certain dealer North of Edmonton, was not to pleasant to chat to the phone about kits and then got quoted well north of $700 just for them to install silbers programming, I just about fell off my chair!
700$ beans to plug into my sled! crazy! Maybe I am missing something?

Yes everyone I know with this kit has had the same problem. Just swapped out the stock pin bolt for a longer one. Bolt weights more and can fit more spacers.

If you bought a new kit from silber that should all be included. If it's a second hand kit they charge 500usd for the programming. You could buy the reflash cable for another 300 but you would still have to pay the 500 for the flash. You could just do it at home then.

Wow! When I ran Boost It turbo's I would run into Neil on the hill at times and he would just walk over to my sled without saying a word and open up my panel and change parameters on the box if he found anything new that improved the performance....at no charge. That's what I expect from someone I spent a bunch of money with. Not paying through the nose to make a poor product better on my wallet.

I think but not 100% sure that an update/revised reflash is free for the original purchaser.

The $700 is $500USD right off Silber's website for a reflash. They state the reasons for the cost, but regardless, don't see why this is a dealer issue.

Ill buy the cord and charge a 40 dollar use fee and u cover the shipping to your place and back. no more getting raped.

I'm totally game for that. The flash cost is why my used silber is still sitting in the shop corner. Would even throw in some beer or fireball or whatever suits your fancy lol
