Bought a newer house where they had never started the siding that would cover the ICF foundation. Noticed they never run the blue skin up very high past the final grading and it looks like it didn't bond too well. Any ideas that won't cost an arm and a leg to finish it? Going to do it in the spring.

Clean the existing blue skin well... Use the primer and on a hot day overlap me blue skin over the old and bring it up higher. Make sure it bonds really well to the existing and to the concrete higher up....

You could possibly hit the existing with a tiger torch very very carefully to heat it up and see if you can get it to adhere. Bit of you do try this be careful... The primer for blue skin is extremely flammable

as far as I know the icf has internal plastic ribs every 8" that you can fasten to. they use it on the inside to fasten the drywall. the blue skin is only required to be below grade so I don't see a need to raise it outside of trying to create a better bond.

Wouldn't that melt the ICF?
