Wow cs5, great pics! How did you manage the first one??
Thanks, the first one I have the camera mounted on a pole that is suction cupped to the hood, then I went out on the road in front of the house and set the exposure for about 20 seconds using a ND filter to block the light. Using a remote trigger I started gently pushing the truck and tripped the shutter. That is soft oil on a gravel road, had no idea a 8600 lb truck would be that hard to push lol. Driving it was not an option because the vibration from the engine would shake the camera too much. I am super happy with the results. Oh and a little time in photoshop fixing rock chips it's an 05 with 300K on it so there was a few.
Oh here is a neat one I did....see if you can figure out how I did it....

I am guessing you are holding a mirror with a flashlight between your legs and the camera at belly button height. and a light behind you?
Are you the face and the silhouette?
I'd have to guess 1 exposure, but two different strobes. One lighting the "floating" face from below, followed by one lighting the photographer from behind. If you are both the face and the photographer, then a much slower shutter speed, and a longer gap between strobes firing, as you moved to your second position.
Just a guess. Might be backwards and the silhouette was done first.
nope...no mirror...I explained the process in an earlier post
Interesting, But it would be a lot easier for me to replicate it in photoshop haha
Likely....I really love the power of off camera flash...i have tons of wicked shots
read this site...amazing what you can do for little cash.
