There were considerable savings. There's a Street Glide in Red Deer at Gasoline alley done up similar to mine for close to the same price I paid for both in Texas. But it likely wouldn't be a good of a deal if I wasn't in Texas for business. Plus I had to provide a US address before Harley would sell me the new bike.

All in all I'm happy with my decision but it was quite a bit of running again on my part to make it happen.

It's just rain, I ain't made of sugar (I hate riding in the rain).
Chances are the ride out will be fine but the ride back will get wet. Such is life.

Yep, brought my butt floss banna hammock to change into so my riding gear stays dry....oh, and my rain gear. Alway have rain gear.

Got into riding last summer and quite enjoy it. Even to the point of selling the sled to buy a new bike. Price was right on this 2004 Suzuki Intruder VL800 w/ 8600 km's.

The wife has the same bike. Loves it. We bought the 03 in 04. Was the same color but has been painted twice now. It is a good reliable bike.

Junior Himark got his first taste of rain when he came to see us at Pigeon Lake.
He's a large at best and wore his dad's xxl golf rain suit back to Edmonton....lol
