Does anyone know of a system that will either work with the Linq system, the Ski-doo bag itself or somehow I can drill some new holes in my tunnel?

After some discussion and thought I really want to get a second shovel handy on my sled instead of having to take my pack off...

Any info helps, cheers!

I bought a couple of these from the White Elephant last time I was in the states to mount my spare shovel. Seem to work OK so far.

That looks more along the lines of what I want to do. Do you have a pic of how you mounted it? Would love to see.

Nah, I'm at work. I have them mounted on the side of my Powderkeg box, but I can't see any reason they couldn't be mounted to the tunnel.

I have the mountain adduction bag. Shovel mounts on it.

Shovel goes on top and handle slides in front of bag

U can slide this bag on or slide my 2 gas cans on. Cool mount system

I use the LinQ bag. 2nd Shovel, handle, tow rope, first aid kit, spare bungie straps, muffpot, wet gloves, etc.. go in the bag. Back pack has good shovel, probe, dry clothing, emergency supplies, goggles, etc.. If I have my gas tank, I will stash it and just use the LinQ bag. Works great for me.

Don't you have a pelican case? I riveted some 2" elastic straps to the top of it like the mountain addiction bag then rolled up two pieces for the shovel Handel. Works awesome.

With the sweet, deeper than chit snow, a guy or a gal, sure needs a shovel and a good saw handy.......that LinQ bag has been just great!

The avi dangers being what they are, I don't like to take off my avi bag to get a shovel (I have two, one on the sled and one in my pack) because there are times when someone in the group is stuck where they shouldn't be.

he did but I tought I would give it a try but my b52 shovel with the straighter curve wont fit. Figured it wouldn't be hard to sell it. its a cool design and its life time warranty.
