What's the story on the shot start system being retrofit onto the xm etec. Looking at doing an e start but if the shot is coming I'll hold off.

Don't think it is ever coming to the XM. Stator and too many parts are different. If it was doable it would be a couple of grand I would think

Can not ever be added to anything unless from factory, if someone ordered a 2018 sled without shot, it can not even be added to that. cheers dave PS Go E-start and don't worry about the weight you won't notice it and if you do feel it in your head buy and earthx battery. they lighten it by 11.5 pounds
