Serious bog in freeride

Every time i hit the throttle it goes for like 1 second but falls flat on its face for like 3 seconds and shoots the skis up to the sky at 8000 rpm. I have changed the plugs syphoned all the gas out from last year, next i will try a stock pipe and can and if all else fails take it to the dealer for a diagnostic check. I go to revy in two weeks so i don't want to take it apart to check the reeds

If you are spending that kind of cash and time to go to the mountains get it into the dealer now. Should be covered under warranty.

hmm, what year is your sled ? Any codes ? TSS pipe and can on my T3 no issues.

Any chance you are over revving and hitting a limiter?

Yeah when you punch it, if the RPMS hit 82/8300 she'll fall flat on her face for a moment or two then giver. I have heard that TSS pipe/can combo has a lot of throttle response so that may be what it's doing.

Is the sled broke in? if not it will go away when the break ins over.

If it is going that high you might be just hitting you rev limiter

I found the rev limiter is more of a bog than a "falls flat on its face" also the rev limiter emits a series of three beeps that are very audible and also displays REV LIMIT. try looking at that next time see what it does. On my etec my reeds didn't make it past 2400 kms and if ur over that I would look at that. Just pull your air box and put your hand over the intake boot it should not blow back against your hand when you pull it over you should feel it suck your hand up to it. Might be a quick way to check them.

My buddies sled started bogging out lastyear and quit a couple times . He tried new helix weights and few other things .. This year check engine light came on and then it stuck on warm up mode . Turns out it was the stator was 2014 freeride
