Seat Screws

Bought a new to me ‘19 Alpha with 59 miles on it. I noticed when I picked it up that one of Allen screws that holds the seat on was missing. I replaced the screw but was skeptical right from the start because it didn’t feel like the threads were holding much. Well one ride later they are now both missing. Anyone ever had this happen and are they’re any suggestions for a fix?

Never had that issue before but they are just a self tapping screw with a uclip

Are you sure there’s a u-clip? I think the screws just self tap into the tunnel don’t they?

Parts book says there is a u clip.

I’m confused as to where the clip goes?

Take a look at the parts pictures they appear to fit on a small riveted piece on the inside of the tunnel. Also I am sure they don’t use Allan screws just a self tapping torx head. Another thing do your self a favor and add BDX protect air or something similar.
