More like a knubs up!

looks like they work great on dry pavement!

In all seriousness, I know 2 guys around here who carry them, but they run 5 axle vans with good winter tires and run south, virtually never have to chain up so they can throw a set of these in their sleeper compartment and dont have to carry chains to be compliant.

Interesting. Wonder how well they would work as a "driving chain" for those vehicles who do not have enough clearance on the front. Of course, chains in the back.

they are a very short term solution, have been told they work rather well on ice, but the durability is pretty lacking. Dont have a supertrain and expect to lift off on a hill.

In them hills.
I buy all my chains from here. They have chains for pretty much anything you can think of, and free shipping which is a bonus. www.canadianchains.ca
I don't know what the brand name of the chains these guys carry or if they are the manufacturer, but they are a pretty solid deal.

I order a set of the Canadian Spec V Bar yesterday at Kal-Tire for $250 and they will be in tomorrow.
