There is a few sledding there but they don't have much snow. Met a couple sleds around Benito that got caught up in a old fence. Trails haven't been groomed this way at all. Some riding in the ducks. Madge lake corner going south. They had a trac hoe in repairing water crossings due from beavers. So it will need more snow before they groom there now.

With this last snowfall there should be some good riding in the Hudson Bay area.

I have some friends heading out to elbow Lake, on the 28th 29th I may join them if I can get away from work but will report either way what the conditions are.

Website says there is snow in the area but if you look on the Manitoba side websites the trails are all still closed.

Elbow Lake is about an hour south east of Hudson Bay stone's throw away from Manitoba border.

Forgot to report back on this, haha. Boys said there was around 18"-24" of snow on the smaller lakes and sing flats where it has been able to blow in. Cabins out there are nice for the price. Trails had not been groomed yet and they had about 50% of the snow they usually have that time of year. They said it definitely wasn't a waste of a trip.

Rode Nipawin this week. Trails not groomed and still rutted from Quads. Fields were ok. About 16" of snow so stubble was full. The snow is very dry and fluffy so you we were sinking down near the bottom.
Overall the riding was pretty good but not enough for cutting donuts. lol

Traveled up to Big Shell Lake today nice white fresh snow seems to be about 1 foot, ok to go for a ride but IMO still needs more no drifts or banks yet and hit the odd stone/stump/root oh well it was ok, trails on north end are nice very little sleds on them so no whoops, or stutters today that was a bonus.

Cancelled my trip to Revy this weekend, so it would be nice to try and get out around here.
