Great Idea !! Just throwing this out there,last year we competed in the Rimbey Mud bogs. Great people, well set up,have a race track,mud pit,big camping area..........Treated us like royalty,close to some good pre/after riding areas. WE MIGHT be able to tag onto their insurance. I do not know the people who own this place or organizers,just to be clear. However it seemed like they really wanted to promote the central Alberta raceway (???) it seemed and MAY get behind this...............Just a thought!!!! Todd (goodngrubby) might know more,after he kills me for bringing him into this.................

I wanna try and stay away from any sort of race/ride for the time being until we can get a good turn out and see were it will go from there. thanks for the info we are looking for something like a football or soccer field that is big enough to host this or even a mall parking lot of some sort

I'll bring it up at the next committee meeting. We do have a nice big grass parking lot...it works good for camping also. The only problem is that of all the S&M members, there's around 7 of us that are actually from Rimbey...that means a lot of travelling for everyone else. Like Jared said...it might be better to have it in a mall parking lot, a little more central to the rest of the world. I'll gladly discuss it with the other guys though.

well like posted above we have permission to do it in barrhead with a couple great locations! and some great exposure for some local and not so local dealers and vendors that wanna participate! we need to get a date setup it is looking like between the end of june to mid july! We also are gonna need prizes or some other donations so anything would be greatly appreciated!!! I myself will be donating a $300 gift certificate For the Castle Custom trucks best whip contest.

and what kind of contests? most clearance, best in show, most mods? what should there be?
letter is emailed to the rec department. now to hurry up and wait to see which dates work for them.
