Got bit more done on the beast. Shock extenders built, header wrapped, header and turbo mounted and lines ran and heat wrapped.

Getting close, got it running and most of the tricky stuff done. Should be able to test it soon. Hopefully there's not a lot of clutching to do but time will tell.

I'm planning on putting on a cover but not for right now. It will just get used at the dunes.

I have a place in Yuma, 20 mins to Ogilbie and Gordon Wells and exactly 1 hour to Glamis store from my place. Wish I was down there now.

I had buddies that drove down to Glamis for July long weekend a few years ago. Lol they didn't realize that the riding is done this time of the year.

Yes, I got it running. It's really quiet with the stock RZR muffler on it! :) Seems to run good, pulls REALLY hard:d Runs smooth, has a bit of a dead spot at 4000rpm but other than that it runs good. Had to do some clutching and have a bit more to do. Overall it's awesome so far, a real rush to drive!

Let's see a video

Hopefully soon, but maybe not until we go to the dunes in early May. I'm still working out a few bugs and clutching. Working on getting overdrive sheaves on the Yamaha primary. I'm on the limiter and topped out at just under 80mph and it gets there so quick it hard to clutch. I need to clutch it for high boost for the dunes even though I'm hoping to run 10 to 12lbs most of the time.
Still trying to get the power steering to work as well. It works fine after I turn on the ignition for about 6 to 8 minutes, then shuts off. Have tried everything with wiring and it still shuts off.

Still no video, sorry.............I'll try to get some in the dunes next week. Got the clutch gaurd on, intake finished, new fuel box, so smooth all the way through now. Got it clutched finally, gonna just run 15 lbs as a max boost for now, so it's running just below the limiter at 10800. Low boost is at 10 lbs, which is pretty crazy at that. Tricked the computer into making the power steering work, better than spending $760 US($1140cnd) on an aftermarket kit. :) Got about 70 to 80 miles on it just rippin around testing on the gravel roads but running great.

That sand hard on the clutches like that? I would think it would chew them up in a day? Maybe they spin fast enough it don't stick?

Very little sand gets to the clutches. Most stock machines run with no clutch cover at all to keep the clutches cool. They tend to run hot in the dunes as you are working them so hard all the time. Belts last way longer with no cover.
