Just thought I would put a few pictures of the running boards I built for the girlfriends M7. All they need is a bit of paint or powder coat. Not sure if I like the rear bumper, it might look better when the mud flap is on.

what have you got against your girl friend? I think the spacing might be a tad excessive. could get your feet caught up in that

Nah she got big feet! Lol. I thought that too but it's not as bad as you think. They are steel, I don't have a tig welder in my garage so I didn't make them from aluminum.

looks good,as Pipes said spacing might be a bit much but if it works for her great. You just made them outta mild steel tubing?...They do need paint for sure, but think u need to add some ice studs for grip....would like wider boards on the Pro Assault,if u ever mock those up let me know.

shouldn't have problems with snow build up. Like Rudy said they will need some sore of paint job. Perhaps powder coating

I just got them test fitted now so I will pull them off again and paint them. Then in the summer get them powder coated. And I got ice studs for dirt bike tires that I am going to put in for traction. And if you want some let me know I could build some.

You may want to test ride them first.

This is awesome entrepreneurship at its finest. Congrats buddy hope everything works out for you. The spacing does look a lil big in the pics but hey I have size 12 boots so I might be sending a PM your way to, after you test them out of course.

I am going to do my XP this week. Then hopefully get out to test them. And I ride hard so it should be a good test. I think that they will hold up good, I just clamped them into place and they are way stiffer than stock ones. Thanks for the input guys, and maybe I will put the spacing closer.

I like em!! The only thing that I might suggest is at the back of the board you have the plate attaching it to the side of the tunnel, for a fat guy like me I can put a bit of stress on that during the day. Maybe putting a 90 on it and using the corner of the tunnel for strength would be more solid? If your getting flex thats what I would try just my 2 cents.

I thought about that to. I was going to use the bolt hole under the rack at the back.

Those are sweet! Would you build those for other people?
