RPM Issues with 2012 Pro - Help Please

Took my sled to the dealer for pre season check. TPS was out of whack causing engine to max out at about 90% so they told me. Could be your issue..155 and 163 geared the same? With this engine? Really? HMMMM. Who'da thunk it?

Very curious to know if you have found the problem with your sled. Im having the same issues but mine has slowly made its way to 7600 its driving me crazy! cant even do any testing unless i drive to the mountains.

A lot of stock springs broke and that would bring you into that 7600 rpm range, have a look.

I had a spring brake middle of last year dealer changed it under warranty and it has not really been the same since. I didnt notice how bad it was untill i got a guage bracket this year!

Nothing yet. I am only riding on Sundays this year due to family commitments so it might take a few weeks to get this sorted. I am removing my delrin from the secondary next and replacing my belt even though it only has 600 miles on it and looks new. If that fails, then into the shop to check the TPS.

Check ur engine mounts as well ive been having the same kinda problems and I got into it and both bolts on the mag side of the bracket had backed out
Now I got some serious issues

Had my top end replaced under warranty due to a nikasil failure and a cracked skirt and was able to pull 8250 today. Problem solved.
