Did you put it on after you bought the boat or factory? I have been told not to put a tower after?? People say it cracks the gel coat and other stuff??

Put it on 2 years ago and no cracks or stress marks. Towers are not a tough instal just takes time.

if your worried about stress cracks make bigger backer plates to distrubute the flex..and never pull a tuber off your tower..

So true only board off the tower and for the thinner hulls backing plates will ensure no cracking.

Also when you drill the holes through the hull use a counter sink bit to clean up the hole, that ay the bolt is not working on the edge of the gel where u just drilled.
