Looking for a storage bag to go on the tunnel on my 2010 800 RMK. Already have the underseat bag ( which does not hold much ).

Any suggestions?

You can also buy a riser bag, they actually store more than you think...

I forgot to mention that I have a riser bag as well. It is the new one from Polaris. Fits well but small compared to other styles on other machines.

Polaris makes a tunnel bag that holds a shovel and another compartment underneath that holds quite a bit.

I had the Polaris shovel bag on my Dragon and hated it, the zipper would freeze up and everything inside got soaking wet. I went with a Vortech rack, and bungy down a Pelican box, works great. Sled Solutions sells a nice bag that straps down to the tunnel and is water proof.

A friend who rides Skidoo bought a tunnel bag from the Skidoo dealer. It looked like it could probably mount on an RMK okay. I think it was held on with the plastic buckles that plug into each other. I liked it better than the RMK shovel bag which is bolted on and doesn't come off easily for taking in and drying it out. It was also way bigger than the RMK shovel bag which I bought. The only thing is it may say Skidoo on it.:nono:

Shovel bag:confused: You guys must be full of bullchit to have to carry a shovels on your tunnel .lol. Would be easier and quicker if you had a grain shovel, just strap that to your tunnel. Shovel should be in backpack when riding in mountains. Ha! Ha! Ha!

Some people run both, one for avys if your sleds burried on your back and one to dig someone out with your back pack on, but i also see no point to the sled one, if your so stuck you need to dig im taking my helmet, jacket, and pack off for the long task of digging some one out, sno bunjies are a life saver.

I agree, shovel & probe should be with the rider, and not beside us when we are taking a break.

Okay, that is what it is called but you can call it whatever you like if it makes you feel better. It doesn't mean you have to actually carry a shovel in there. This thread is about storage not about where to carry your shovel.:realmad:

Check out the waterproof bag by skinz. Its like a dry bag for rafting. comes with mounting that slides into the tunnel slots. I think it is one of the best out there.
