Polaris makes a tunnel bag that holds a shovel and another compartment underneath that holds quite a bit.

If it's the same bag I have, it's useless!! Won't hold a stack of pancakes!!

I am getting the PTP350-BK for Christmas from the wife, don't plan to carry fuel as this one is going to be a LOT more fuel efficient than my 600 carb.

I agree, shovel & probe should be with the rider, and not beside us when we are taking a break.

Lot of guys carry both, one on their pack and one on the machine. That way you don't have to remove pack in a precarious siuation to get shovel.
