Anyone have a wildcat Trail 700 out there? Looking at purchasing one and would like some real world no bs or brand bashing reviews.
Looks like there are basically no aftermarket accessories for it yet other then from Cat.
How are they holding up?
Problems or issues?
Comfort after a full day ride?
How's the power?
Looks like a guy will get completely covered in mud with basically no fenders on it?...
Thanks so much

Top Secret.
I personally havent driven one, but from what ive read online and seen in videos they are pretty impressive.

i would almost try checking out a dedicated arctic cat forum and reading opinions from there.

although im sure the crowd will be pretty biased, but still some food for thought!

Personally, I'm not looking for something that kills a 1000... not out of a 50" sxs at any rate!

I wanna know how it holds up against a rzr 800 or 570 in terms of practical things like ground clearance, durability, comfort, etc. I'll be keeping an eye on these, be next spring before I trade the quad in though.

The wildcat 700 is already ahead in clearance. Comfort. Suspension. And I'm sure durability. Especially when it comes to bushings, bearings, brakes and tranny. Cat has put almost 3 yrs into the sxs market with heavy time and money invested. Pretty cool to have another 50" on the trails now.

Looks like a nice machine. Comparing specs, it has more hp than the 800 RZR, a little more suspension travel and a little less ground clearance. Durability has yet to be proven, being a new model. None the less, it is nice to see AC give Polaris a little competition in the "smaller" SXS market.

For a new machine intro it has had very few hiccups, lots of power with a proven engine(Kymco scooters).I would say it is quite superior to the 50" rzr in all catagories, bearing in mind the rzr is getting a little long in the tooth..........

I think you will see a new rzr shortly, that will be more than competative with the new trail though.......At this stage though the trail is superior and cheaper than the 800/570 rzr by quite a bit......IMO.

Time will tell ,but i would certainly take a chance on one...........if you are in the small utv market !

Start a new thread, you might get more answers,.. this one is about AC trail 700 :)

Oops, I didn't know you were the hall monitor.....lol

3 or 4 posts on this thread talking about the RZR but RSX bugs you, eh?

No prob, wasn't bashing....just asking if anyone compared these to others?

My brother in law just bought a trail. Very impressive machine. The one thing though about the wildkitten is the cabin space is allot smaller than its big brother. If you are a smaller sized person go for it. Its not a popo. If you are like me 6'2. Then it is not for you. It did drive nice and all bit for me was very cramped into it. Shut it off with my knee when I got into it if that gives you an idea of cabin space.

Wasn't trying to be a dink, just everyone already knows about the rzr and wondered how they would compete seeing the AC trail is a very decent machine., even teh rzr 570 can keep up to the 800. The Gator doesn't get any chat, so a new thread might have gotten more attention,.. that's all, where I work I can get a 850rsx 7% above cost but I won't own one.

Have had the 700 trail since mid january it was number 6 off the assembly line. Been beating the absolute tar out of it since I got it. Mechanically it has been stellar and fairly well protected plastics, I rolled it at about 25 mph(3.5 rolls I'm told) minor scuffs and scratches. Accessories are finally becoming availible. Not to brand bash but the only two bikes on the market right now that I cant hang with are the mav and xp1k. Comparing apples to apples in the 50'' category it puts the beat down on everything. Will be adding a D&D exhaust and snorkelling soon. Any other info you need just pm me would be happy to discuss over i-net or phone. Oh i'll throw in some stats for ya. 28'' zillas 14.5'' ground clearance with factory suspension. This thing excells in the deep snow absolutely blows my buddys mav away.

not trying to derail, but to answer your question I've driven the gator and its a great machine. power and quality are good, could maybe use a little more ground clearance but I'm sure bigger tires would work. IMO one of the best things about it is how quiet it is, you can actually talk to your passenger lol but then again my only other sxs experience has been in rhinos so im not sure how it compares to the others.

Heading out tomorrow with a 800s,570,Mav and XP1000 we will all be doing the same holes and should have a bunch of video. Should be a great day to see where each bike performs and others do not.
