Those would have been the bolt-on plastic paddles. Nobody misses those. Absolutely deadly if you found some ice in a corner.
We took a 2” paddle and cut them down to 1 5/8” for our phasers. When we would ride locally down the rivers they would roost 200’ out the back. Looked like a jet boat going down the river. Wouldn’t corner worth a chit on the river. lol

I remember being in the Quartz parking lot in 92ish. This huy has a full spread of 2" paddles bolted on. No stagger, no gaps. They must have been rubbing. He went out on the highway and rooted on it until they wore down enough lol

Your buddy Alek did he also have a few mountain max 600 & 700’s as rentals? Back in 2000 my powder extreme ate a set of reeds so I rented a MMax 700 for a couple days so not to ruin my trip. Loved the sled so I snow checked a 2001. We used to stay at the Smoky Bear campground

About 2002 there was a wedding up on the hill. The chopper brought the grandparents and the priest up. A few of my buddies dared me to streak by on my sled. I did, lol.

Im thinking that was the previous owner. Peaks lodge has changed hands a bunch of times.

I remember that. I think you were in the old Days parking lot at the end of the day calling the dealer weren’t you?
I called the dealer Monday morning and said “I don’t really want it and I’m dropping it off after work”
When I picked it up on Friday it was a $1500 deductible and I said that wasn’t going to work for me. So we did up a bill of sale and I took it to my insurance company and got full coverage for the weekend for $20. With the plan to tear up the bill of sale Monday morning. Well that didn’t go quite as planned. Ended up being the best $20 I ever spent as they wrote the sled off and I fixed it up.
