I was putting my V-force reeds on my 06 800X Rev. It has .5 inch spacers from the factory, has anyone put V-Force reeds on this sled. My carbs don't seem to want to go on very well. Do you have to get rid of the spacers? The V-force are a little thicker but not much. Ran out of time "had to get to work.

Yah you just have to kinda tuck the carb bowls in first in front of the jackshaft cover and then they'll tuck into the boots and be good to go..

Hey Overkill.. Like Glengine said they will fit but from experience keep an eye on the carb bowls rubbing on the jackshaft! Mine wore right through on a ride and had gas leaking everywhere. Part of the reason I did my drop and roll!

If you bend jackshaft protective cover a hair it should help with the rubbing.. But make sure you dont bend to far as it would then rub on jackshaft.

I acually took the die grinder and trimmed it back for that reason. Then I put small bend inward to make a little roll along there. All this made it much easier to get the carbs in and out. Thanks for you tips fellas, they all make it way easier the first time ya tackel these projects.
