Replating cyclinders

Has any one had a issue with replating a cyclinder? Replated 2010 m8 cyclinder and lock up after about 5 minutes of riding. Completely stock.

Did you check your ring gap? And make sure the oil pump was bled?

X2, did you install correct size pistons as well? Probably not the platings fault if it was done correctly.

Did not bleed oil pump prior to starting. Did run machine on stand for 15 minutes or so to make sure water was cycling through recovery system. That's off and on for 15 minutes, not a constant 15 minutes. New OEM stock piston and rings and did not check gap.
