Was wondering if anyone has replaced there e-module before and if so could a guy use 1/4" inch grade 8 bolts ? I think I can get away with not taking the motor out . Anyone have any tips or suggestions ? And was wondering if the 600 rs has the same ones or are they more rugged and reinforced.

Grade 8 bolts be fine and don't bother drilling big rivots. Punch and a hammer deals with them in a jiffy

Turns out i don't have to remove the motor or the chaincase there lots of room to work and the punch and hammer was way easier then drilling . I have the old ones out and just waiting on my new ones , I went with the ones for a 600 rs for replacement .
