Replacerment Pistons for Etec Turbo

I am installing a turbo on my T3 and I am right at the range where I should be good for milage...but for peace of mind, I am installing new pistons even though I still have a full year warranty. Are you guys just using the stock single ring piston or is there a viable dual ring cast piston available?

How many km?. I know a guy who put a turbo on with high km and he put lots of km on after that.

Gauge cluster was replaced a couple of years ago and Blow Cycle never reset, so I don't know the exact milage as it stopped working before it was replaced. My best guess is somewhere between 5 and 6000 km, closer to 6000k I would say.

dual ring in a etec turbo.... hmmm top ring is so close to the top of the piston. if you detonate or run a bit lean you will pinch the ring and bye bye engine.. really why go away from stock? for 3 points in compression? imo not worth it. seen lots of dual ringers go down.

I have been told buy a few that the dual ring pistons are the way to go...but cast not forged. At this point i an not sure what way i go. The old bigbore has got dual ring cat pistons and that is still a ripper. Lol, still no further ahead with this....

I'm going to use stock. like Sick1 has said in previous posts. Double the rings, double the friction.
