Seen a few clips of this cat on a sled an frequently heard about him. Anytime an ambassador, mentor, an genuinely great person passes on you automatically revert back to great experiences an memories you shared. RIP.

Im very sad for Rene and his family and his best riding bud Brett and his family too.
Rene did a lot of testing for me over the years and got to know him pretty decent. My heart grieves for his family.

I have never met him, but whenever i hear of someone losing their life in a sport that i very much enjoy, it is always a tragedy.
May he rest in peace.....thoughts and prayers to his family and close friends.

My better half was a very close friend of his. I’ve just been getting to know him over the last year but what a man. . We drove from Valemount to the lodge last night. I’ll keep you guys updated as factual information becomes available. But one thing I do ask is to not to spread misinformation. RIP my friend
