Rene was the Wayne Gretzky of the sledding world I remember 2 yrs ago it snowed 5 ft overnight and nobody could get to eagle cabin and he did it on his kids 154" - I loved how he would be straight up and tell skidoo what the problem was with their sleds - his team nicknames and 1 liners were on frickin point - I always mangle parts at eagles on my 2014 xm 174" old dirty banana and he would see me at the cabin and tell me to come by his Lodge and he would take me into his back shed with a flashlight with a crap ton of parts and give me a good deal on the parts I needed - I nuked my Reed's and he gave me a box of 4 completes sets that were used to take to redline to get my sled dialed in - charged me nothing told me we would square up next year - he was the best at helping people that needed help - like the edmontonian last year that dropped off guitar ridge nobody else in the world coulda got that guy out at 3am from where he was except the legend himself - I'm stuck in Maniterrible working right now - I had planned on loading up on walleye fillets and lbs of walleye cheeks to give to him on my trip on Dec 27th - I never got to ride with him - maybe one day when it's my time also we can shred the clouds together RIP Rene
