In a 2012 ProRMK how does the fuel line come off from the fuel pump? It looks like the attachment to an air-hose where you slide the clip back to remove but nothing seems to move. Dont want to force anything and the service manual wasnt helpful. Thanks.

You need to slide a ring over the fuel Linda coming out of the pump. Then push it into the fuel line fitting to release the barbs.

I used the cap to a black sharper marker.
I just trimmed it to the right length cut it lengthways and pushed it into the clip.

Have to wiggle it a bit but works better after an attempt or 2.

Thanks! After re-reading the service manual I did read that on 2012s it says "use fuel line disconnect tool" :smash: . Glad I posted this and didnt go out searching for "a tool I'll use once".

Can I pull the airbox out without removing these lines? I have everything removed to do pull the cylinders except the fuel rail. It looks like I need to remove the airbox to get at the fuel rail but it keeps getting stuck on something. Is there an angle I can wedge it out from? The service manual just says pull clutch and oil tank off.

Didnt know the tool was only $5!

When you need a special tool and crappy tire is closed but YouTube is open. Works fine and
With very little effort.

I honestly can't remember if you have to remove the fuel lines to get the air box out or not.
