I just happened to look on Gooogle earth and saw a huge natural area north of the Bruderheim. Is this area open to quadding? It looks at least 4-5 times bigger than the south area.

I emailed someone once not long ago asking the same question.. read below.

Hi,

Thank you for your inquiry about Redwater and Bruderheim natural areas. With support from the municipal governments, we are considering the reclassification of Redwater and North Bruderheim natural areas as provincial recreation areas. From August to October 2010, feedback was gathered during a 60 day online public comment period.
The proposed change would ensure more appropriate use of each of these areas, based on their size and natural attributes, and help visitors to better understand the conservation and recreation opportunities at each site. New park ‘quiet hours’ would be established, and public safety would be improved by minimizing fire risks associated with random camping and fires.

We are reviewing all public feedback from the recent consultation before making a decision on this proposal.

A summary of public comments and the resulting proposed action(s) will be posted online once a decision has been reached: .

Thanks again for your email.

Yes the Redwater Natural Area is open to Quadding. I was there today, still snow on the ground and in the afternoon the snow starts to get sticky.
