Don't go Boost it... there worse then Redline. The best kits out there, as KTMsx350f has stated, are kits that are flashed... MTNTK and Silber.

I've had 2 redline boxes the g2 and now the g3 - just dropped my sled off at Redline on dec23 - hit a rock at eagle totalled my front end - 5 day turn around on repairs from Dave which is great but if I drive 9 hrs to eagles and have any issues with my sled popping and farting - I'm drop kicking my g3 box into the woods and trying the boondocker box - I've talked to a couple people at eagle cabin about my issues and they all are telling me to drop kick the redline box into the trees and go boost it - but that is crappy cuz they shut the doors - they also said to mix my AV gas 100:1 with cheap 2 stroke oil

who ever told you XIC doesn’t understand what they are talking about the XIC can’t do anything extra for you at all. Dave seemed pretty legit that he is working hard to correct this and if what he says is true about what he has coming out for a box soon then it will be on par with the BD capabilities for sure with I assume VE based tuning which would actually be better then BD. If your sled is still at redline talk to Dave he is working on this. One thing I can almost assure you he’s probably the only one working on new tech for a XM they are becoming old fast with the G4 and Axys kicking ass these days. The Boondocker box works and I know 100% it does. It cost me some money to basically prove that it would work and if Dave doesn’t have a solution in the near future then that’s the option I would look at. I even mentioned to Dave throw a BD box on a redline kit Dave see how good it works and then make your own as good or better and he didn’t totally turn down the idea. If you could find a used BD box for cheep you could even use it just to pull some fuel from stock injectors and leave the G3 box on to try it. I’d also use the bd box for ebc and boost by throttle cuz that’s a major selling feature.

If your having tuning issues I would suggest a mix of sealed race gas not AV. Av burns slow and it can create issues much the Same it’s self 10L race gas for 7-8 psi has always been good for me for throttle response.

This was a quick video my buddy took the other day of the exact same sled just to show how clean an etec Xm turbo can be and the sound. Only 6.5 psi cuz the motor was still on its first day we turned t up to 8.6 and works really good. Engine should be good for 12-15 now it’s to bad I just want another Axys turbo to have 2 the same and kinda lost interest in XM’s lol

Im thinking I might try running c-12 vp on next trip - do u think I could get away with mixing it with AV gas? Still got a batch I gotta burn up

Not ideal race gas still burns slower then pump that’s why pump gas give best throttle respons. Best to to use just enough race to not have detonation 25-50% usually.

I known Dave for 5-6 years now, Hi kits work. I can say that the Axys and Cat kit rips as ****, no bogs pulls hard. , I haven’t had a chance to ride the 850 myself but they ran without issues a few weeks ago when we were out and it was deep. I personally have a TSS on an XM 2014 and had bogs at low end like every Boosted Etec. Dave went out of his way to help me out fix the problem, even met me in revy up the hill with his laptop to work on a product that is not even his. My sled works perfect with one of his fuel box and his clutch set up on and it’s Been pull and go since then. All I can say is that he’s top notch and he’s out there testing **** and perfecting his kit every week and answering his phone. I ran last weekend with a BDTurbo polaris Guy, it was running like **** since he got the kit and he wanted to pull it out of his sled.. I’m not here to bash a brand or hype an other, im talking from what I saw on the hill in person. There is no perfect solution and there will always be some tweeking to do and I think Redline is in the right direction.

If your buddy wants to pull his bd kit I will buy it haha I could add more to this since posted but it’s not worth it and other kits having issues aren’t mine so not my consern at this point. Honestly after talking with Dave he took responsibility for my issues and I would delete the hole trend I cold now. I shared my experience after being ignored and he said he knows something was wrong big time and I know he felt bad and wants to fix it.

My brother Boost it doo 174 runs amazing. It took a bit to get it there tho, not that there was a issue before, I just knew it could be better.

BoonDocker Turbo
Well obviously boondocker. You obviously don't know much about boondocker turbo and the different components/set ups you can run by your reply. Are you talking intercooler air/air or water to air or neither. What waste gate? What control box? What numbers fuel control? ????
